Don't like the wing. What's the significance behind it? My true true love is an STi Limited. It's such a sleeper.

The S04 follows the S202, and S203, as a special edition Impreza limited to 600 examples. Each costs five million yen and are built specifically for the Japanese market. (approx $40,000 USD)

Aside form the upgraded STi package, the S04 sports a more power thanks to new larger, ball-bearing turbocharger from FHI. The added bits offer 320 bhp and 319 lb-ft of torque from the small two liter engine! The performance parts include a large-sized twin scroll ball-bearing turbo, sports ECU, sports catalyzer, titanium sports muffler, silicon air intake duct, air cooled engine oil cooler, high strength casting pistons, STI large size intercooler, hard type engine mounts and balanced engine internals.

The chassis was completely reworked with a new suspension featuring lower springs, performance dampers jointly developed by YAMAHA and STi, piro-boll bush suspension bushings, 21mm roll bars, sports brake pads, 18x8.5 BBS alloy wheels, strut braces,

Inside the S04 gets a leather wrapped SRS steering wheel with STi stitch, shift knob with stitch, an aluminum shift boot ring with S204 serial number, sports pedals with aluminum pads, full auto air conditioning and exclusive bucket seats that recline. Outside, customers can choose three colors: WRC blue, grey or black with standard options being HID headlights, electric mirrors, exclusive front skirt, silver mesh front grille, Rear wing spoiler with high mounted stop lamp, Aluminum front hood, Front corner spoilers and a rear diffuser.

Did you end up getting a car in Japan?

Not yet... i want to save money a little for once so i decided to buy a car without using the money i got from the sale of the corvette... I will buy the new car solely with money I made in Japan. Right now i have access to a car and a scooter so i don't really need one of my own. In 2 to 3 months i will need one though. I will be looking for either a cappuccino or an Az-1 or a mr2 gt or a gtr or.... well it never ends lol

I understand... How long are you there for? And how'd you get a job there? Just curious!

If I was there I'd probably want some JDM-only thing, like a rare Subaru or an MR2 GT! A kei-car's pretty spot on, too! Are NSX's any cheaper over there? How's the car community?

The Swift is actually mine. I go there a couple of times a year, I think this was last year!

I'm creating my own companies (yes plural lol)...So I'm going back. Not gonna go into details but you might read about it on Jalopnik sometimes in the next 2 to 3 years once that everything is rolling smoothly ;). One will be car related (not gonna be up and running until 2 years, but I'll start working on it in a year or so), the other is not (gonna be created in 3 months or so but already sort of running it now, just not full time at all as I am taking almost full time japanese classes).... I create the first one to have the cash for the 2nd one :)

It's pretty much everything I can say now lol

My wife is japanese, so it's fairly easy for me to do whatever I want here ;)

As far as the car scene goes, I don't really know to be honest... It feels like you have 90% of people who don't know much about cars or who care about cars solely for how good they look inside and 1% of people who just live by it... The other 9% are older people who used to care about cars but who had to stop, too busy working their ass off as salary-men and now live with memories of the days when they had fun in their life... Kind of sad really. I think there are more automatic gearboxes in Japan than there is in the US and that says a lot... Kind of scary really lol.
